Who says an artist can’t reinvent themselves? The entire concept of being artistic is ABOUT inventiveness (among other things, of course)
An artist who chooses to strictly do one particular style is fine, but who made the rule that they HAVE to stick to that, ad nauseum?
I certainly haven’t, and don’t plan to either. I don’t think anyone should DEMAND that any artist be forced into a corner, so to speak.
Kind of an “evolved” version of a piece I made years ago.
This is my latest art series, called “Southern Gentleman” because I have always been a cowboy fan.
I was in a bit of a drip painting/Pollock-esque mood, and still on a heart art kick, so this was the final result.
“Primitive”? Maybe, but still (in my opinion) pretty awesome.
Vaguely reminiscent of some of my early artwork from way back. Yet with a freshness.
Though it’s technically already Sunday, at around 2 a.m. , I wanted to share another piece done recently for Caturday.
